We offer 2 styles of painting:
Classic 'Eavy Metal Style
A hyper-clean, graphic, and highly technical that maximizes tabletop readability through smooth, vibrant midtones, deep micro-blacklining in the recesses for sharp contrast, and edge highlighting on almost every surface. The result is a pristine, factory-fresh finish with immense definition, ensuring that every crisp detail pops perfectly under studio lights or across the gaming table. This style comes in 3 tiers of finish:
Tier 1 – Tabletop Standard
Tier 2 - Tabletop Plus
Tier 3 - Display Ready
Grimdark
The Grimdark painting style is a gritty, atmospheric aesthetic that rejects pristine box-art perfection in favour of realistic, war-torn realism. Defined by a muted and desaturated colour palette, it brings the grim, perilous setting of tabletop worlds to life through heavy oil or enamel washes, realistic streaking grime, textures, and heavy sponge-weathering to deliver an immersive, battle-hardened finish that looks like it just stepped straight out of a dark sci-fi or fantasy warzone.
Basing
We offer 3 styles of basing:
Standard Basing - includes use of texture paints and drybrushing, included as standard.
Toppers - Pre-designed toppers that offer a detailed, unified and dynamic look to your army - this is an additional cost, which is priced at 15% off store retail price.
Basing bits - Offering more creative freedoms to our artists using a mix of texture paints and basing elements to make each base unique - this is an additional cost, which is priced at 15% off store retail price.
'Eavy Metal Style
Tabletop Standard - Simple base coats, with a single colour for armour, single edge highlight and simple basing, offering a great look for rank and file models.
'Eavy Metal Style
Tabletop Plus - The same Table Standard, but with the addition of secondary midtones , additional edge highlights. Perfect for more elite rank and file units.
'Eavy Metal Style
Display Ready - Perfect for centre pieces and character models. Using more advances techniques such as glazing, volumetric highlights, non metallic metal, freehand, and higher detail basing.
Additional attention is given accentuate the finer details such as; skin tones, textures and materials like cloth, leather; and metallics etc.
Grimdark
Gritty, atmospheric aesthetic to that reflect an air of war-torn realism. Uses a more desaturated palette to brings the grim, perilous setting of tabletop worlds to life.
